How To Set Up The Mixpanel Integration

If you want to keep track of the events that occur on your Common Ninja widget and view the event report in your Mixpanel account, Common Ninja’s Mixpanel Integration is the tool for you!

With the Mixpanel Integration, you can monitor the events that occur on your widget, such as when it loads on your website or when users click on the widget.

This article provides the steps for setting up your Mixpanel integration.

1. Within your Mixpanel account, select the project where you want to add your widget analytics reports.
   
   
   
2. On the top panel, click on the settings icon and select Project Settings.
   
   
   
   
   
3. Within the projects settings menu, go to the Overview tab and scroll down to find the Access Keys section. Within this section, you will find the Project Token input. Copy this token.
   
   
   
   
   
4. Go to your widget editor, navigate to the Integration tab, and choose the Mixpanel section.
   
   
   
   
   
5. In the Mixpanel section, paste your Mixpanel token into the Token input field.
   
   
   
   
   
6.  Click on the Connect Widget button to activate your Mixpanel integration.
   
   
   
   
   
   
7. After connecting your widget, new options will appear under the Events section. Click on the Add Event button to create a new event.
   
   
   
   
   
8. Now, select the event type you want to track using the Event Type option and rename the event to any name you prefer using the Event Name option.
   
   
   
   

That's it! You've successfully set up your Mixpanel integration and can now track and analyze events from your Common Ninja widget in Mixpanel.
