Data Editor is the single most powerful tool that you can use to enter the data, select a chart type, and publish your chart. Several features allow you to customize the entire chart any way you like.
But first, let’s take a quick walkthrough of the salient features of Data Editor:
This is where you can select from a range of charts available in the Charts and Graphs Plugin.
Note: Only Column Chart is available in the basic version.

Now, let’s move on to Data Editor.
Here, you need to select your Data Source. You can either proceed with Static Data or Dynamic URL. We have already covered How to import data through a Dynamic URL (Google Sheets) in the following tutorial:
Let’s get started with Static Data
In the following screenshot, what you see is the data range where you can input data in rows and columns, which then translates to a chart.
To add a row, click the plus icon at the bottom of the table, and to add a column, click the plus icon at the right of the table.
Think of it as a basic version of Excel. Adding and managing data is quite easy. We have created dummy data depicting the Sales Revenue, Expenses, and Net Profit for each month. Note that if you have a figure in the negative range, Charts Ninja will automatically adjust itself to display it.
As always, save your changes and hit the Preview button at the top right to preview your graph:

If you want to change the colors of each data, go to Data Editor and click the small icon next to the label you want to change. You can now select from any color to match your preferences:
