The RSS Plugin allows you to change the look and feel of your feeds such as colors, skins, and layout, which further adds up to the beauty of the feed. Here’s how to change the look and feel:
From your plugin editor, go to Look & Feel. You will see a number of options. Let’s go over them one by one:
- Layout - DIfferent layout templates
- Skin - Choose from a range of different skins.
- Custom colors - Define your own custom colors for background, feed title, feed title background, titles, etc.
- Font & Text Direction - Change the font family and text direction.
- Custom Text Sizes - Change text for each text such as Feed Title, Titles, Text, etc.
- Background - Have a clear background or add/change background image.
The layout option changes the way feeds are displayed in the Feeder Ninja. From a number of options, choose the one that you like, such as Flow, Pops, Chat, and more. Click on any one of the layout options and you will see the change in the feeds.
Skins allow you to change from a predefined set of colors. For this tutorial, we have selected the Dark skin and you can see the changes to your feed in real-time on the right.
Custom Colors (premium only)
Consider Custom Colors as an extended version of Skins. You can change the colors of any text and background you see in the feeds such as hyperlinks, title, text, dates and titles. We have done some changes in the colors and you can see the changes in the Feed.
Font & Text Direction
How you want the font to be displayed, whether from left or right, alongside font family can be changed from here.
Custom Text Sizes (premium only)
Text Sizes can be customized as per your requirement. You can change the size for Feeds title, title, text, dates and social buttons, etc.
Specify if you want a transparent background or an image. There are two options to upload an image to the background. One is to upload directly by browsing from your PC, and the other is by specifying the URL. Do note that uploading an image directly to the Feeder Ninja is only available in Premium version. However, you can still upload an image via URL in the basic version.
