Seems to be a bug in the FAQ app. I've seen this many times now while building out content. The question field will suddenly not allow typing. It seems to be related to images embedded in the answer, because if I delete images it will sometimes work again. This happens even if the text is several lines below an image. Even a paragraph after, Pretty sure it's the formatting, but since CommonNinja doesn't allow you to edit HTML like most editors, you can't fix it. The fix is to delete content and do it over, or type in Notepad and then copy and past into the answer field. Annoying at minimum, and makes it very challenging to build FAQ's.
