CSV Integration Using Google Sheets

Many of our widgets offer a convenient feature that allows you to link your widget to a remote CSV file, enabling real-time data fetching, analysis, and manipulation.

In this article, we’ll explain how to use this feature with Google Sheets.

Open your Google Sheets file. At the top of the screen, you will find a toolbar with various options. Click on the "File" option.

 

 

A window will appear, within it, select the "Share" option. Then, choose the sub-option "Publish to the web".

 

 

Another popup window will open, providing you with the ability to share your file.

 

 

Within the "Link" tab, click on the "Web page" section. This section opens several options, select the "CSV" option.

        

 

 

Then, copy the file’s URL.

 

 

Go to your Common Ninja editor, click on the “integration” icon, and paste the URL. 

Lastly, click on the “Connect Widget” to integrate the file into your widget.

    You can also import CSVs into Google Sheets directly from the file menu. Open a new Google spreadsheet and click File   sign language alphabet    Import. Then choose a CSV to upload. You can choose a CSV file stored on Google Drive or upload one from your device.From the Google Drive interface. Another way to open a CSV in Google Sheets is via the Google Drive interface. In this case, upload a new CSV file to Drive.Go to that sheet, hit File, then Import. In this next screen, go to Upload, then Browse for the CSV file you just downloaded from your first spreadsheet. Once your file is selected, you'll get a new screen with a few more options. Under the Import location dropdown, make sure you select Append to current sheet
