In today’s digital world, offering online appointments or meetings directly through your website has become a necessity for businesses. To enhance your customers' booking experience, we are excited to introduce the Zoom integration for our Booking widget. This integration allows your customers to book appointments or meetings directly from your website and automatically generates a Zoom meeting link for each booking. Follow the steps below to set up the Zoom integration for your Booking widget on the Common Ninja platform.
Step 1: Access the Integrations Tab
First, navigate to your Booking widget on the Common Ninja dashboard. Once you are in the editing mode of your Booking widget, locate the “Integrations” tab on the top menu. This tab is where you can add and manage all your widget integrations.
Step 2: Select the Zoom Integration
Within the “Integrations” tab, you will see a list of available integrations. Find the “Zoom” integration from the list and click on it. This action will take you to the next step to connect your widget with Zoom.
Step 3: Connect Your Widget
After selecting the Zoom integration, click on the “Connect Widget” button. This button initiates the process of linking your Booking widget to your Zoom account. If you are not already logged in to your Zoom account, you will be prompted to log in.
Step 4: Authorize Common Ninja
Once you log in to your Zoom account, you will be asked to authorize Common Ninja to access your Zoom account. This permission allows Common Ninja to automatically create Zoom meeting links for each booking made through your widget. Click “Authorize” to grant permission. Rest assured, Common Ninja values your privacy and security, ensuring that your Zoom account details are handled with the utmost care.
Step 5: Configure the Location Setting
After successfully connecting your Zoom account, return to the Booking widget editor on the Common Ninja platform. Navigate to the “Content” tab, which allows you to customize the booking experience. Here, find the “Location” setting and change it to “Zoom”. This setting ensures that every booking made through your widget automatically includes a Zoom meeting link, making it easier for you and your customers to connect online.
After completing these steps, your Booking widget is now integrated with Zoom. All bookings made through your widget will automatically generate a Zoom meeting link, which will be included in the confirmation emails sent to you and your customers. This seamless integration not only simplifies the booking process but also enhances the overall customer experience by providing a straightforward way to schedule online meetings or appointments directly through your website.
Removing the App
In order to remove the integration, just go to the "Integrations" tab, enter the Zoom integration, and click "Disconnect Widget", or delete integration.
Once the Zoom integration is enabled in your Common Ninja Booking widget, meetings are automatically created in Zoom whenever a new booking is made. This feature streamlines the process of scheduling online meetings or appointments directly through your website, ensuring each booking has a corresponding Zoom meeting link for easy access by both the host and the attendees.
- Creating Meetings: For every new booking, a Zoom meeting is automatically generated, and the meeting details are included in the booking confirmation sent to both the host and the participant.
Removing Meetings: If a booking is canceled or rescheduled, the associated Zoom meeting is automatically updated or removed. This ensures your Zoom account and meeting schedule remain synchronized with your booking calendar.
