To integrate your Common Ninja widget with Zendesk, you’ll need to provide your Client ID and Client Secret from Zendesk. Follow these steps to obtain them:
- Log in to your Zendesk account and navigate to the Admin Center, click on the Apps and Integrations tab.
- Within this tab, navigate to APIs > Zendesk API.

To create an OAuth Client, navigate to the OAuth clients tab and click the Add OAuth client button.
- A window will appear where you need to fill in the required details. In the Unique Identifier field, choose a name that will be your Client ID. For the Redirect URLs field, paste the following link to ensure your integration works correctly:
https://www.commoninja.com/api/oauth/zendesk/callback
- After filling in all the necessary information, click Save to finalize the creation of your OAuth client.
- Once saved, locate the client Secret at the bottom of the OAuth client window and copy it, this secret will be your Client Secret.
- With both your Client ID and Client Secret copied, return to your widget editor and paste these credentials into the required fields for Zendesk integration.
Additionally, enter your Zendesk account name, which is the part of your Zendesk URL shown in bold:
https://[your-account-name].zendesk.com.
