How to Install Common Ninja Widgets on Sitejet?

Adding a Common Ninja widget to your Sitejet website is a simple process that enhances your site with interactive features. This guide will walk you through the steps to embed your widget successfully.

Step 1: Copy Your Widget Embed Code

Before you can add a widget to your Sitejet website, you need to retrieve its embed code:

1. Log into your Common Ninja account.
2. Open the widget you want to install.
3. Click "Publish", then copy the provided embed code (a <script> tag).
   
   

Step 2: Add the Widget to Your Sitejet Website

There are two main ways to embed your widget—either on a specific page or across the entire website.

Option 1: Embed the Widget on a Specific Page

If you want the widget to appear on a specific page, follow these steps:

1. Log into your Sitejet Dashboard.
2. Open your website project and go to the Website Builder.
3. Navigate to the page where you want to add the widget.
4. Click “Add Element” and choose "Code" from the elements list.
5. Inside the Code element, paste the Common Ninja embed code.
6. Click Apply, then Save & Publish your page.

Option 2: Add the Widget Site-Wide (Global Use)

If you want the widget to appear site-wide (e.g., as a floating button or popup), follow these steps:

1. Go to your Sitejet Dashboard.
2. Open your website project and go to the Website Builder.
3. Click on "Website Settings" (⚙️).
4. Navigate to the Custom Code section.
5. Paste the embed code into the appropriate section:
   • Use the Header if the widget needs to load before the page content.
   • Use the Body or Footer if the widget should load after the main content.
6. Click Save & Publish to apply the changes.
