Manually Approve Comments

Have you ever embedded a Comments widget on your website, and discovered that after submitting a comment, you were greeted with the "Your comment is being reviewed by the owner" message? 

This message is a key element of the 'Manually Approve Comments' feature, designed to grant you control over which comments appear on your website and which don’t. This is a security feature that can help you filter spam and unwanted link insertion.

The 'Manually Approve Comments' feature is for users who want to ensure that every comment goes through a review process before being publicly displayed. 

This article will explain where to get the comments, and how to approve or delete them for better control on which comments get to your website.

1. After a comment is submitted on your website, navigate to your widget editor and click on the “Comments” tab:
   
   

2. Within the “Comments” tab, you will see all your submitted comments. Select the comment you wish to address and navigate to the "Status" section where you will find the option to approve or disapprove the comment based on your preferences.
   
   
   
   

And that’s it! 

All the comments that have been tagged as 'Approved' will be displayed on your website.
