For example, if you have a blog and want each post to show only its own comments, we've got you covered!
Our Comment Widget includes a premium feature that displays comments specifically on the pages where they were posted. This means that a comment made on a particular page will only be visible on that page.
This article will guide you through the steps to enable this feature:
-
Open the widget editor and navigate to the "Settings" tab. Locate for the "Comments Display Mode" section.
-
In this section, you will encounter two options:
- Comments by Domain: Display all comments from your entire website, allowing you to see comments from different pages on your website in one place.
- Comments by URL Path: Display comments that are specific to the current page URL or path, showing only the comments relevant to that page.
- Selecting both of these options will ensure that comments appear only on the specific page where they were made.
- If you do not select any option, all comments will be displayed across your website, regardless of the specific page URL or domain.
After understanding these options, we'll enable the "Comments by URL Path" feature to display comments per page URL.
And that's it! After saving your widget and embedding it on multiple pages of your website, comments will only appear on the page where they were made.
