Common Ninja's Form Integration offers many features to help you efficiently manage your widget's data by extracting specific information from Common Ninja’s forms. Among these features is the filter section, which enables you to selectively display specific information from the comprehensive data collected by your forms.
This article will guide you through the process of utilizing the filter option:
- After integrating Common Ninja’s Form into your widget, proceed to the filter settings and click on the "Add Filter" button.
- In the new filter item, choose the form field you wish to filter from the drop-down menu next to the “Field” section.
- Select the operator that best suits your filtering requirements from the provided options:
- Equals (=) - Display all information equal to the value entered in the filter field.
- Not Equals (!=) - Display all information not equal to the value entered in the filter field.
- Includes - Display all information that includes the value entered in the filter.
- Not Includes - Display all information that doesn’t include the value entered in the filter.
- Greater Than (>) - Display all information greater than the value entered in the filter field.
- Greater Than or Equals (>=) - Display all information greater than or equal to the value entered in the filter field.
- Less Than (<) - Display all information smaller than the value entered in the filter field.
- Less Than or Equals (<=) - Display all information smaller or equal to the value entered in the filter field.
- In List - Display all information where the selected field value is within a specified list.
For example, consider a scenario where you have a form with a "Multiple Selections" field.
When utilizing the Form Integration feature, this specific field will exhibit a list of selected options.
Using this example, if you apply a filter to the "options" field, with the "In List" operator and the value "Example two", the widget will display entries where "Example two" is among the chosen options within the list. - Not In List - Display all information where the selected field value is not within a specified list.
Using the same example from the “In List” operator, If you apply a filter to the "options" field with the "Not In List" operator and the value "Example one", the widget will display entries where "Example one" is not included in the selected options.
These filtering options enable you to precisely control the data displayed by your widget, making your widget more user-friendly and efficient.
