Widgets like Forms, Spinning Wheel, Booking, and others, allow users to make submissions which you can later view in the “Submissions” tab of the widget’s editor.
But what if you want to receive live updates immediately after a user submits their information?
This is possible thanks to a powerful feature that enables email notifications for all new submissions.
To enable and use this feature, follow these steps:
- Navigate to your widget’s editor, and locate the “Notifications” tab.
- Within this tab, locate the “Notify me on new submissions” section, and enable it. This will open a new set of settings.
- From here, you can set the notification details:
Set Emails:
In the “Send notification to” field, enter the email addresses you wish to receive the submissions. Please ensure that each email address is on a new line.
Set email details:
Customize your email’s subject text using the “Email subject line” option and the email description using the “Message” option. Some widgets provide dynamic parameters (e.g., [PARAMETER_NAME]) that are dynamic based on the user’s submission. Make sure to use these parameters as provided in the editor, for example, you can find these parameters within the forms editor as follows:
And that's it! Once you've set up all the necessary information, whenever a user submits a new entry, you'll receive an email containing all the details to view the user's submission.
