The Project Domains feature in Common Ninja allows you to control where your widget appears by specifying the exact domains where it’s allowed to load. This can be useful if you only want your widget to display on certain websites. Follow the steps below to set up this limitation.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Log in to Your Common Ninja Dashboard: Access your Common Ninja account and navigate to your Dashboard.
- Go to My Projects: In the left-hand menu, select My Projects to view all the projects associated with your account.
- Select the Project with the Widget: Choose the project that contains the widget you want to limit to a specific domain.
- Access the Project Domains Setting: Inside the selected project, click on the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of the screen. From the dropdown, select Project Domains.
- Add Your Desired Domain: In the Project Domains settings, you’ll see a field labeled "Enter Domain." Type in the domain where you want the widget to be allowed, such as `example.com` or `www.example.com`.
Important: Ensure the domain format matches exactly with the website’s URL (e.g., including "www" if needed). - Save the Domain: After entering the domain, click **Save Domain**. This will restrict the widget to only appear on the specified domain.
- Verify the Setup: Visit the specified domain and refresh the page to check that the widget loads correctly. If you try to view the widget on any other domain, it should not appear, as it’s now restricted to the designated site.
