Exporting your widget data as JSON is an efficient way to transfer information between applications. JSON is a universally accepted format that ensures data integrity during the transfer process. Follow these steps to easily export your widget data.
Steps to Export Data
- Access the Widget Data Panel
- Begin by navigating to the widget interface where your data is displayed. Look for the sidebar that houses various settings related to your widget. Once there, ensure the Widget Data panel is open, which you will typically find alongside other configuration options.
Initiate the Export Process
In the Widget Data panel, locate the Export to JSON button. Clicking this button will start the export process. This action is critical as it prepares your data for download in a JSON format, making it ready to be used in other applications.
Steps to Import Widget Data
- Open the Import Modal
- Begin by accessing the data import feature. Locate and open the Import modal within your application. This is your starting point for uploading the widget data file.

- Upload the Widget Data File
- Click on the upload file icon to initiate the file selection process. In the dialog that appears, navigate to and select your exported data file,
- Configure Import Settings
- After successfully uploading the file, you'll be presented with the Import Settings modal. Here, you can choose what data to import. Initially, all data categories may be selected, but you can customize this by checking or unchecking specific options such as Settings, Styles, Content, and ColorScheme according to your needs. Once satisfied with your selection, click the Import button to proceed.

- Complete the Import Process
- Upon clicking Import, the modal will close, and you will receive a success message indicating that the data has been imported successfully. Your widget will now be updated with the new content, reflecting the imported data.
