What Are Automatic Messages?

Automatic Messages are triggered when a user has not interacted with the chatbot for a set amount of time. These messages can remind users that the chatbot is available to help, offer suggestions, or encourage them to continue the conversation.

How It Works

• The chatbot tracks user inactivity.
• After a specified time, it sends a predefined message.
• This helps keep users engaged and prevents them from abandoning the chat.

How to Set It Up

1. Navigate to the "Content" section in the left navigation panel.
2. Enable the Automatic Message option.
3. Set the inactivity duration before the message is triggered.
4. Enter the message you want the chatbot to send.
5. Save your changes.

Example

Message after 2 minutes of inactivity:
"Hey, still there? Can I help you with anything else?"
